Men’s Baseball Win OCAA Gold for Third Consecutive Crown

Aurora, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team put an exclamation mark on their 2023 season winning their third consecutive Provincial Gold Medal Saturday at the OCAA Championship being hosted by Seneca College at Stewart Burnett Park in Aurora, ON. After rain pushed their Friday game against Durham College (Oshawa) until Saturday morning the Saints upended the tournament’s second seed with a 7-2 result and used a 12-2 mercy shortened victory over Humber College (Etobicoke) to take home the banner.
Men’s Baseball Start OCAA’s with Win

Aurora, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team started their quest for another OCAA Championship Friday morning in Aurora, ON at Stewart Burnett Park and came away with a 14-2 mercy shortened win over Centennial College (Scarborough). However, when rains came later in the day the Saints could not begin their evening match-up with Durham College (Oshawa) that would decide who would advance to the gold medal round. The game was postponed until Saturday morning at 9am.

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team finished their home schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Lambton College (Sarnia) Thursday night at Mic Mac Park’s Cullen Stadium taking the opening game by a score of 10-1 and then fashioned a combined no-hitter in an 8-1 nightcap.
Men’s Baseball Take One from Fanshawe before Rain Halts Sweep

London, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team got a come from behind 10-8 win over Fanshawe College at London’s Norm Aldridge Field Saturday afternoon and then led 16-0 in the 5th inning before rain halted the finish of a doubleheader sweep. The completion of the second game will be rescheduled to a later date as the Saints remain at the top of the OCAA standings with a 13-1 record while sporting a 7-game win streak.

St. Clair Men’s Baseball Suffer First Loss in Durham Split

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team escaped game one of their doubleheader with a 7-6 win but suffered their first loss of the season in game two by a score of 17-10 and settled for a split against Durham College (Oshawa) Saturday afternoon at Mic Mac Park’s Cullen Stadium field. The Saints are now 6-1 but also gave Durham (7-1) their first loss of the year.

This is part of a weekend homestand for the Saints who welcome Sault College (Sault Ste. Marie) on Sunday for a doubleheader starting at 12:00pm.

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball moved their OCAA record to 5-0 after a doubleheader sweep of Centennial College (Scarborough) in their home opener Saturday afternoon at Mic Mac Park’s Father Cullen Stadium Field. The Saints only needed five innings in the first game which ended in a mercy score of 11-1 but capped the doubleheader with an 8-3 verdict.

Ajax, ON – The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball team enjoyed a successful opening weekend of their OCAA season and now hold a 3-0 record after a doubleheader sweep of Seneca College (North York) Sunday afternoon at Ajax’s Audley Recreation Centre diamond. The Saints took the opening game by a score of 11-3 and then completed the day with a 7-2 win.
