Vincent-Simon Named St. Clair Men’s Basketball’s First OCAA POY

Windsor, ON – For the first time in the 56 seasons of St. Clair College Men’s Basketball the Saints will celebrate having the OCAA’s Player of the Year Award winner with the Thursday’s announcement that 5th year forward Chad Vincent-Simon (Scarborough, ON) earned the league’s top prize.
Men’s Basketball Take West Division

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Basketball team won their second consecutive West Division title for the first time since 1970 with two wins to close out regular season this past weekend. The Saints defeated Conestoga College (Kitchener) 93-75 Friday night and then topped Redeemer University (Ancaster) 76-70 Saturday afternoon. St. Clair will carry a 15-3 record into the post-season when they host an OCAA Crossover Playoff game on Saturday at 8:00pm. Their East Division 8th Place opponent will be announced officially on Monday.

The Saints (1-0) set a new standard for points scored in a regulation game breaking the old mark of 123 points which they achieved last January against Conestoga.
