St. Clair Fratmen Host GTA on Halloween

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair Fratmen (6-0) are rested after a bye last week but come home on Halloween for an afternoon tilt against the GTA Grizzlies (0-7).  The Fratmen are looking to remain unbeaten in the Ontario Football Conference and sit at #2 in the latest Canadian Junior Football League's power ranking.

With two games remaining in their regular season schedule the Fratmen have secured the top position in the standings and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

St. Clair running back Jacob Savoni (LaSalle, ON) leads the OFC in scoring (12 TD's), yardage (657) and carries (96) rushing for 6.8 yards per attempt.  Fratmen quarterback Michael Beale (LaSalle, ON) leads the league in passing with 1,366 yards and 20 touchdowns completing 64.7% of his throws averaging 11.5 per attempt.  Receiver Cody Holmes (Windsor, ON) is the top pass catcher in the OFC with 560 yards on 24 receptions with a 23.3 per grab average and 8 majors.

A stingy Fratmen team defense relinquishes just over 12 points per game and defensive back Nathaniel Norton (Windsor, ON) tops the league with 5 interceptions.  Jake Holloway (Franklin, Tennessee) is the OFC leader in kickoff yardage (3056 gross, 37.4 avg.) while Dante Lewis (Windsor, ON) ranks first in punt return yardage (218 total, 15.6 avg.).

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday at St. Clair's Acumen Stadium and as a bonus the first 100 kids in attendance aged 12 and under will receive a goody bag of Halloween treats.  If children of the same age are dressed in a Halloween costume they will be invited to parade on the field at halftime.
