St. Clair Fratmen Home Saturday Night Against Quinte

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair Fratmen (4-0) continue their Ontario Football Conference slate on Saturday night when they host the expansion Quinte Skyhawks (1-4).  Kickoff at St. Clair's Acumen Stadium was moved earlier than originally scheduled to 7:30pm.

 

Fratmen quarterback Michael Beale (LaSalle, ON) had his best game of the season last weekend earning OFC and CJFL Offensive Player of the Week honours in a 51-28 win over the Beefeaters in London.  He threw for 308 yards and five touchdowns to go with a rushing major and currently leads the league in passing touchdowns (13), completion percentage (57.6%) along with per completion average (10.4). 

 

St. Clair feature back Jacob Savoni (LaSalle, ON) continues to lead the OFC in rushing averaging 6.3 yards per carry over his 414 total yards (1st OFC) and a league best seven touchdowns out of the backfield. 

 

Fratmen receiver Cody Holmes (Windsor, ON) is now 1st in league yardage (401) on 18 catches (1st OFC) with a 22.3 per grab average. 

 

Quinte is coming off a 21-7 defeat at home against Hamilton and also lost to St. Clair 68-6 in Belleville back on Sep. 26th.  The Skyhawks have shared the pass throwing duties between Carter Stephens (36-106, 34%, 463 yards, 3 TD's, 12 INT) and Kyle Baronet (19-48, 39.6%, 276 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT).  Adam Misiewicz leads the Skyhawks in rushing and sits 7th overall in the OFC averaging 2.5 yards per carry while receiver Tristan Gilbert-Thibault is 5th in league yardage with 13 catches and a 14.8 average.
