St. Clair College Men’s Baseball Hit Road to Open OCAA Season

Windsor, ON – The 2-time defending OCAA Champion St. Clair College Men's Baseball team open their regular season this weekend with four games in the GTA.  The Saints visit Humber College (Etobicoke) on Saturday for a doubleheader at Connorvale Park in Etobicoke starting at 1pm and finish the road trip with a doubleheader against Seneca College (North York) at the Audley Recreation Centre in Ajax starting at 12pm. The Saints return five league all-stars from the 2022 squad including Provincial Championship All-Star Henry Real (Panama City, Panama), OCAA Rookie of the Year Owen Findlay (LaSalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova), OCAA Championship MVP Hunter Appleyard (LaSalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova), Josh Anderson (Ajax, ON) and Sam McKinlay (Tilbury, ON/Ursuline).  Colin Robinson (Windsor, ON/Kennedy) also returns and was another OCAA Championship All-Star team selection. 

The Saints also reloaded with incoming local talent featuring Andrew Langlois (LaSalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova), Brady Knelsen (Leamington, ON/Leamington), Jack White (Tecumseh, ON/Tecumseh Vista), Owen Levesque (Windsor, ON/St. Joseph) and Mitch McCosh (Belle River, ON/Belle River).  Out of town additions include Union County College (Cranford, NJ) transfer Miguel Leocadio Jr. (Springfield, NJ/Passaic) and Gareth Mann (Ajax, ON/Ajax).

Saturday's games are the next chapter in a rivalry that has seen the Saints winning seven of the nine contested OCAA Championships in league history with Humber winning the other two titles.
