Bio

The Windsor native and 2-time Royal Arcanum winner while at Riverside High School later earned University of Windsor Athlete of the Year honours in consecutive years (2016 & 2017) after being named MVP of the Lancer track and cross country teams in 2015. 

In 2017 Bellemore broke the 4-minute mile barrier (3:57.20) but has also had great success in the 600m, 800m, 1000m, 1500m in addition to his cross country prowess. 

His list of accomplishments is lengthy but most notable is that he represented Canada on six occasions allowing him to travel the world.

  • 2nd – 2019 Canadian Track and Field Championships (1500m)
  • 3rd – 2018 Canadian Track and Field Championships (1500m)
  • 4th – 2016 Olympic Track and Field Trials (800m)
  • 1st – 2015 Canadian Track and Field Championships (800m)
  • 2nd – 2015 Athletics Ontario Senior Track and Field Championships (800m)
  • 1st – 2015 OUA Championships + new record which was held by former Olympian Tim Bethune (600m)
  • 1st – 2014 CIS Championships + setting the CIS record (4x800m - 7:27.94)
  • 1st – 2013 Junior National Track and Field Championships (800m)
  • 2nd – 2013 Athletics Ontario Junior Track and Field Championships (800m)
  • 3rd – 2009 International Children’s Games in Athens, Greece (1500m)

Accomplishments:

  • 2017 – Sub 4 minutes in the mile (3:57.20)
  • 2016 & 2017 University of Windsor Athlete of the Year
  • 2016 CIS Track & Field Athlete of the Meet
  • 2015 – Named MVP of University of Windsor Track & Field and Cross Country
  • 2013 – Became Canadian Junior Record Holder in the 1000m (2:25.39)
  • 2011 & 2012 - Royal Arcanum Award Winner as top male high school athlete in Windsor-Essex County

  • 2013 Pan American Track and Field Championships (Medellin, Colombia) – 4th (800m)
  • 2012 NACAC Cross Country Championships (Port of Span, Trinidad) – 12th

Bellemore has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Windsor.
