The St. Clair College women's volleyball team continued their second semester OCAA schedule on Wednesday night defeating the Fanshawe College Falcons 3-0. Set scores for St. Clair were 25-14, 25-21, and 25-16.
Rookie outsider hitter Brianne Hobbin (Guelph; Centennial CV) had a big game for the Saints with 12 kills on 27 attempts, 1 service ace, 1 stuff block and 8 digs. Third year libero Mikayla Stocks (LaSalle; Sandwich) continued her outstanding play with 3 assists and 7 digs.
The Saints are now 13-2 on the season and are ranked 2nd in Ontario and 8th in Canada. The Falcons record fell to 3-12 with the loss.
St. Clair will wrap up their regular season home schedule on Saturday at 4 pm against the Conestoga College Condors. The Saints will be honouring their graduating seniors prior to the match.
