Women's Volleyball Open Season with Win

Kitchener, ON - The St. Clair women's volleyball team opened their OCAA regular season schedule on Friday night as they travelled up the 401 to take on the Conestoga College Condors in Kitchener.  The Saints came away with a convincing 3-0 win.

Set scores for St. Clair were 26-24, 25-13, and 25-16.  Third year outside hitter Kiana Huggins (London; Saunders Secondary) led the way for the Saints with 12 kills, 3 service aces, and 4 digs. Second year setter Emma Clements (Windsor; Holy Names) also had a solid game with 2 kills, 6 service aces, 33 assists and 3 digs. Rookie outside hitter Brianne Hobbin (Guelph; Centennial CVI) had a great OCAA debut with 8 kills, 3 service aces and 5 digs.

The Saints are next in action when they open their OCAA home schedule at the Sportsplex on Thursday at 5 pm against the Redeemer University Royals.
