Women's Indoor Soccer to Play for Medal Friday

(Vaughan, ON) The St. Clair women's varsity indoor soccer team was in Vaughan on Thursday taking part in the OCAA Championship at the Ontario Soccer Centre. The Saints came away with a record of 1 win and 2 ties on the day and finished in second place in their pool.

In their first round robin match, St. Clair defeated Sheridan College 3-0.

The Saints took on the Durham Lords in the second game and played them to a hard fought 0-0 draw.

In their final game of the day, St. Clair took on the Conestoga Condors and that ended in a 1-1 tie.

With the second place finish in their pool, St. Clair will face Seneca at 10 am on Friday in the provincial semi-final. The other semifinal will feature the Centennial Colts taking on the Durham Lords.

The winners will play for Gold at 1:30 pm while the losers will play for Bronze at 12:00 pm at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
