Women's Indoor Soccer Off to Provincial Championships

(Vaughan, ON) The St. Clair women's varsity indoor soccer team travelled to Vaughan to take part in the OCAA Regionals on Monday, February 26 at Ontario Soccer Centre. The Saints came away with a record of 3-1 on the day and placed second in their pool.

In their first match, St. Clair dropped a tight math to Centennial College by a score of 2-1.

The Saints bounced back to defeat a solid Redeemer University team in their second match 2-0.

In their third match St. Clair easily handled the Lambton Lions by a score of 8-0.

In their final game of the day St. Clair took down a tenacious George Brown College team by a score of 4-1 with a couple of late goals to seal the win.

With the second place pool finish the women have qualified for the OCAA Final 8 Championship March 7-8 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
