Women's Indoor Soccer Win George Brown Invitational

Women's indoor soccer took to the field at the Ontario Soccer Centre on Friday for the George Brown College Invitational for their first tournament of the season.

The Saints finished round robin play with a 3-0 record only conceding one goal.

In the semi-final they matched up against the Sheridan Bruins. The teams were scoreless after 25 minutes of play so penalty kicks were required. After seven rounds of PKs St. Clair came out on top.

In the finals they met up with the Conestoga Condors and jumped out to a 2-0 lead going into the half. Late in the game they went up 3-0 then conceded a late goal but won the game 3-1.

It was a great start to the season and a nice tune up for regionals that will take place on February 26 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
