Bio

Telfer is a Windsor native and joined the Saints coaching staff in 2019 after benefitting from seven playing seasons with the varsity team.  During that span she helped St. Clair to six provincial medals including OCAA Gold in 2014 in addition to three Silver (2013, 2016 & 2017) and two Bronze (2011 & 2012) medals.   She was also the Saints team Pitcher of the Year Award winner in 2015 when St. Clair won the Canadian Collegiate Softball Association National Championship.  Telfer shared in two other National medals with a Bronze in 2013 and a Silver in 2014.

She appeared in 134 games for St. Clair and was equally adept at the plate logging 353 at bats with a lifetime 0.334 batting average adding 72 RBI’s.  Telfer’s career marks on the pitching rubber saw her go 32-14 in over 307 innings pitched while sporting a 3.26 earned run average to go with 145 strikeouts.  In her best season of 2015, she went 17-6 appearing in 25 games with 138 IP and a 2.99 ERA. 

Telfer is a Level II NCCP Certified coach and has experience as an assistant with the Windsor Lady Expos 14U (2013-2014), LaSalle Athletics 19U (2015-2017) and the Windsor Wildcats 12U (2020) in addition serving as Head Coach of the Windsor Wild 19U in 2018.
