Men's Soccer End Regular Season with Win

The St. Clair College men's soccer team wrapped up their OCAA regular season on Friday night with a solid 4-0 win over the Lambton Lions (Sarnia) at Acumen Stadium.

Moussa Nizam (Windsor; Kennedy) had 2 goals to end the season with 13 goals in 10 games. Tanner Page (Bothwell; West Elgin) also scored to give him 10 tallies in 10 matches. Guilherme Silva (Brazil) got the fourth goal for the Saints.

With the win the Saints end the season with a record of 7 wins, 2 losses and a tie. St. Clair is currently ranked 6th in Ontario.

St. Clair has locked up a home playoff game by placing third in the OCAA West.  The Saints will be hosting a playoff game on Wednesday, October 18 at 5:30 pm against the Redeemer University Royals at Acumen Stadium. The winner will advance to the OCAA Quarterfinals on Saturday October 21.

It was also Senior Night as the Saints honoured several athletes who have played for at least 2 seasons and are graduating this year. Those recognized were Massimo Pollard (Windsor; Holy Names), Joao Santos (Brazil), Jonathan Rondinelli (Windsor; Riverside), Mateo Grahovac (Windsor; Riverside), Fares Akhdar (Windsor; De Lamoth Cadillac), Austin Severino (Kingsville; Kingsville District), Iliya Pavicic (Belle River; St. Anne's) and Ezra Fogal (Windsor; St. Joseph's).
