Men's Indoor Soccer Finish in Third Place

(Vaughan, ON) The St. Clair College men's varsity indoor soccer team took part in their first event of the semester on Friday and ended up finishing tied for third place.

The Saints were in Vaughan at the Ontario Soccer Centre taking part in the George Brown Invitational.

St. Clair started the day defeating the University of Laurier-Brantford 3-0 in their first round robin match.

In their second game the Saints fell to the Seneca Sting in a great match 1-0.

St. Clair took their final game of the round robin 2-0 over the Centennial Colts.

The Saints finished in 2nd place in their pool which put them up against the first place Conestoga Condors in the semi final. In another outstanding game the Saints fell just short losing to the Condors 1-0.

The St. Clair men will next be in action on the OCAA Regionals at the Ontario Soccer Centre on February 27.
