Golf Teams Wrap Up Exhibition Season
The St. Clair College golf teams were in Niagara Falls on Wednesday to take part in the Niagara Knights Invitational at Legends on the Niagara in their third event of the season.
The St. Clair men 's team finished tied for 3rd place out of 8 teams in the tournament. The Saints were led by Spencer Higginbottom (Lakeshore; Tecumseh Vista) who finished tied for 7th place with a round of 5 over par 77 on a tough golf course. Simon Moir (London; St. Thomas Aquinas) had a solid round as well shooting 7 over 79 and tied for 13th.
The St. Clair women were led by Shannon Coffey (Windsor; Brennan) who finished in 3rd place with a solid round of 8 over 80 but just three shots out of first place.

St. Clair will be hosting the OCAA Championship at Ambassador Golf Club from October 2-4. The players and teams will be competing to qualify for the CCAA National Championships being held at Club de Golf Lorette just outside of Quebec City from October 16-20.
