Coffey in Reach of National Silver Heading into Final Round

(Oct 20) Ajax, ON- The St. Clair College women's golf team completed round three of the 2022 CCAA Golf National Championships presented by PING on Thursday.  The event is being played at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax Ontario and is being hosted by Durham College. It was the worst day for golfing conditions all week with very high winds and snow falling lightly a couple times during the round.

Shannon Coffey (Windsor; Brennan) had a tough round shooting an 86 on the par 72 course. She is currently tied for 6^th place but only 5 strokes out of a silver medal with the final round scheduled for Friday with the weather expected to be much nicer.

In the conference women's competition OCAA Team 2 which Coffey is a member of is in 4th place.

Sophia Fallea (LaSalle; Villanova) shot a 93 to put her 12^th place but only 3 strokes out of the top 10.
