10 Saints Earn OFC All-Star Recognition

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair Saints Football team has outdone itself once again. The Ontario Football Conference has named its 2023 All-Stars and the Saints have earned ten of them, this is two more than the last season. The All-Stars were split evenly on offense and defense.

Defensive Backs Nathaniel Norton (Windsor, ON) and Billy Patterson Jr. (Windsor, ON) are now 2-time OFC All-Stars, the two DB's have also combined for 6 interceptions on the season. Defensive Linemen Carl Fabre (Windsor, ON) and Mo Ibraheem (Etobicoke, ON) have been forces all year on opposing Quarterbacks and have combined for 12 sacks. Linebacker Keewone Parker (Lansing, Michigan, USA) rounds out the Defensive All-Stars, leading the Saints in tackles per game.

The Offensive All-Stars were led by the teams scoring leader Javier Lewis (Toronto, ON) who had 10 total touchdowns on the season. He is closely followed by Rookie Wide Receiver Darius France (Windsor, ON) who had a big season in a crowded Receiver room. Quarterback Maurice Sodja (Louisville, Kentucky, USA) was given the nod, who had 13 total touchdowns and was just shy of 900 passing yards and 350 rushing yards in split duties all season. Running Back M.J. Doyle-Marshall (Airdrie, AB) is an All-Star for the first time in his young career as he had 8 total touchdowns and had a 9.5 yards per carry average. Rounding out the offense is now All-Star Offensive Lineman Ezzat Elnagmi (London, England, UK) who led a young and injury plagued O-Line all year.

The 10 All-Stars will be in the lineup when the Saints take on the Ottawa Sooners this Saturday, October 14th at 7:00pm for a chance to get back into the OFC Championship Game.
