Women's Softball in Victoria to Defend CCSA National Championship

Victoria, BC – The St. Clair College Women's Softball team will try to defend their 2022 Canadian Collegiate Softball Association National Championship starting today which is being hosted this weekend at Langford Centennial Park by the University of Victoria on the lower reaches of British Colombia's Vancouver Island. 

The Saints open their pool play games on Friday against Humber College (Etobicoke) at 1:00pm (EST) followed by a match-up against the University of British Colombia (Okanagan) at 6:00pm.  St. Clair concludes pool play on Saturday against Queen's University (Kingston) at 1:00pm.  The University of Western Ontario (London), Durham College (Oshawa), University of Calgary and host University of Victoria make up the entries in Pool B of the 8-team championship tournament. 

Quarter-final crossover games begin at 6:00pm (EST) on Saturday for the 2nd and 3rd place teams from each pool with the winners advancing to the semi-finals against the 1st place teams on Sunday at 1:00pm (EST).  The Bronze Medal game and the 5th place game will be played at 4:00pm (EST) followed by the Gold Medal game at 6:00pm (EST).
