Bio

Roberto Duncan assumes the role of Head Coach and Manager of the Saints Baseball program in 2021 following in the footsteps of highly successful Dave Cooper.  Duncan was a free agent signing by the Boston Red Sox and spent three years (2010-12) playing in the Dominican Summer League and a season in the Panamanian Professional League (PROBEIS) before joining the Saints varsity roster in 2015.  He helped the Saints to a pair of OCAA Championships along with a National Silver Medal with a career batting average of 0.289 while playing primarily first base for St. Clair.  Duncan also played a season for the St. Clair Green Giants in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League in 2017 helping the squad to a North Division Championship. 

Duncan is a Panama City, Panama native who has served as the Saints varsity team Assistant Coach helping St. Clair to an OCAA Gold Medal and a National Championship in 2017.  He has also worked as an Assistant Coach with the St. Clair Green Giants Summer Collegiate team the last two years.  Duncan has 18 years of baseball experience both Nationally and Internationally across Canada, Panama, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela along with the USA and earned an MLB Advanced Certification for Coach Development in 2017.  Duncan graduated from St. Clair’s Sport and Recreation Management program.
