Bio

Jay is a graduate of the University of Windsor where he earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and an Honours in Sport Management. He was hired 18 years ago as a Sports Co-ordinator in the Campus For Kids Program. Jay was born and raised in Kincardine, Ontario.

Shewfelt has also served on the OCAA Executive for 6 years. He spent two as VP Programs, two as President and two as Past President. He also has served on several committees and was the OCAA Hockey Convenor. He is currently the OCAA Golf Convenor.

Jay previously worked with Arena Corp for 6 years where he helped manage the Windsor, London, and Cambridge Ice Parks. He won 3 Junior C All Ontario Championships as a hockey player; 2 with the Belle River Canadians and 1 with the Hanover Barons

Jay currently oversees the golf, soccer and volleyball programs
