Windsor, ON – The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association held their Men's and Women's All-Canadian Banquets on Tuesday evening at their respective National Championship events which allowed 5th year forward Chad Vincent-Simon (Scarborough, ON) and 5th year transfer guard Kaitlyn Overeem (Brantford, ON) to be recognized for their outstanding seasons.

Vincent-Simon received his CCAA All-Canadian award in Moncton, NB and was also nominated for National Player of the Year after being the 6th leading scorer in the province with an 18.5 points per game average which included 42% shooting beyond the 3-point arc (OCAA 8th) and added 5.9 rebounds per contest helping the Saints to their second consecutive West Division title with a 15-3 record.  He also made the 5th most free throws (63-for-79), and his 79.7% conversion rate was 11th best in the province from the charity stripe.

Vincent-Simon's accolades include being named the West Division Player of the Year and a West Division First-Team All-Star in addition while joining Jimmy Parsons (1997-98), David Korenic (2009-10), David Gomez Jr. (2022) and Shakael Pryce (2022-23) as St. Clair's 5th CCAA All-Canadian selection.  He finished his career #14 in St. Clair Men's Basketball history scoring 1,333 points as a Saint.

St. Clair's 5th year transfer guard Kaitlyn Overeem (Brantford, ON) became the 7th Saint in school history to be selected as a CCAA All-Canadian and received her award in Lloydminster, AB.  She was the first since Shannon Kennedy (2015) to achieve this level of acknowledgement for the Saints Women's Basketball program.

Overeem was the OCAA and West Division Scoring Champion as well as being named a West Division First-Team All-Star.  Overeem finished the regular season with a 20.9ppg average but was also 2nd in OCAA assists at 5.3 per game while adding a team high 7.8 rebounds per contest.  Her 334 points in the regular season was the 4th most prolific scoring total in Saints history and she became only the 5th St. Clair Women's player to lead the province in scoring average.  Overeem's 579 overall season points ranks 5th all-time in Saints history and she is only the 4th Women's player to average 20 points per game for St. Clair.
