Women's Volleyball Sign Local Top Recruit

(Windsor, ON) The St. Clair College Department of Athletics and women's volleyball program is pleased to announce the signing of Lillian Mereszak for the 2024-25 season.

Mereszak is a 6'0" middle from Amherstburg where she will be graduating from North Star High School this spring where her team qualified for OFSAA in 2023. Lillian has extensive club experience playing for the South Country Bandits under coaches Jeff Miller and Megan Kalbfleisch.  She was named a member or Team Ontario and her team in the Premier Division of the Ontario Volleyball Association. Lillian will be taking the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program at St. Clair.

Meresak is looking forward to becoming a member of Saints Nation. "I chose St. Clair because of the great honours degree program that other schools in the area don't offer as well as the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful and welcoming community. My future teammates and coaches have given me the opportunity I've always strived for and the welcoming family feel of the team made choosing St. Clair the best decision ever."

Head coach, Julie Ann Milling is excited for Lily to be joining the team. "She is our first recruit for 2024-25. I have known Lily for a few years now. It has been amazing to see her growth on and off the court with her club team. She will make a strong offensive impact for us at the net. Along with her athletic skills, she brings great leadership qualities as well."
