The St. Clair College women's volleyball team wrapped up their second semester OCAA home schedule on Saturday afternoon taking down the Conestoga Condors 3-0. Set scores for St. Clair were 25-23, 25-19, and 25-11.
Middle hitter Krista Nichol (Hamilton; Westmount Secondary) had a big game for the Saints with 3 kills, 3 service aces, 3 stuff blocks and 3 digs. Setter Emma Clements (Windsor; Holy Names) had a great game with 3 service aces, 24 assists and 9 digs.
The Saints are now 14-2 on the season and are ranked 2nd in Ontario and 8th in Canada. The Condors record fell to 9-7 with the loss and are ranked 8th in the OCAA. With the win the Saints are now locked into second place in the OCAA West with 2 road games remaining next weekend in Sudbury.
St. Clair will host a cross over playoff game on Saturday, February 10 with the time and opponent to be announced at a later date.
