Petro is looking forward to her time with the Saints. "Despite having received many offers from different institutions, I am certain that St. Clair College is the best choice for me to pursue my academic and athletic dreams and goals. The renowned collaborative Nursing program offers a combination of hands-on learning and theory to better prepare me for a Nursing career. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best choice for me and I am very excited to begin my college journey with the Saints."

Returning head coach, Steve Vagnini is extremely pleased to add these three women to the program.  "I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with these young athletes. They have been coached extremely well at L'Essor and have had the experience of going to OFSAA and finishing in the final four which is great accomplishment and sets the tone for their future college experience."

The Saints are in a rebuilding year with most of the team graduating from last season. The key returning players that are back are All Star goal keeper Athena Dimario Done along with veteran defender Jaclyn French and forward Malary Cole.

The St. Clair women's outdoor team finished this past COVID shortened regular season in 2nd place in the OCAA West Division with a record of 4-1-1. The Saints ended up losing in overtime in their OCAA Quarterfinal Match.  The women's indoor team ended up winning OCAA Bronze in the winter semester.
