Women’s Basketball One Win Away from Provincials

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Women's Basketball team host George Brown College (Toronto) in the playoff quarterfinals on Saturday at the SportsPlex with the winner punching their ticket to the OCAA Provincial Championship Final Four the following weekend.  The game time has been moved earlier to a 3:30pm start.

The Saints finished with a 13-3 record (West 2nd Place) and are ranked 4th in the latest OCAA poll while George Brown was 3rd in the East Division with an 8-6 record while holding the 8th ranking in the province.  St. Clair advanced to the quarterfinals after a 75-37 win over Durham College last weekend and George Brown narrowly got by Redeemer 68-66.  In the other meeting this season the Saints beat the Huskies 84-43 in late September exhibition play at the SportsPlex.
