Women's Softball Divide Time on Weekend
Windsor, ON – The 4-0 St. Clair College Women's Softball team play a pair of games on Saturday in Kitchener against Conestoga College beginning at 2pm and then come home for a doubleheader against Mohawk College (Hamilton) on Sunday at the SportsPark diamond starting at 1pm.
Pitcher/3B Bryanna Kressler (Kitchener, ON) has continued her strong play this season for St. Clair sporting a .667 batting average (OCAA 2nd) to go with a pair of homeruns and a league leading 8 rbi's not to mention a pitching win. Sierra Baltzer (LaSalle, ON/Sandwich) is the OCAA's top average hitter at .727 while adding 4 rbi's. St. Clair chucker Mckenna Copley (Dover Centre, ON) has not surrendered an earned run in a three pitching wins for the Saints. Shae-Lyn Murphy (Windsor, ON/Holy Names) and Ashley Ventura (Fergus, ON) are also OCAA top-10 in batting at .667 and .429 respectively.
Conestoga (0-4) is winless so far this season while Mohawk holds a 2-2 record and are led by middle infielder Danika Millen (Milton, ON) who is batting .500 which includes seven runs batted in.
