Noel Junior and Emma Riccardi Earn Athlete of the Week Honours for Week 3

The Week 2 Saints Athletes of the Week are Noel Junior and Emma Riccardi, who helped the men's and women's soccer teams to two big wins.

On Wednesday, Emma Riccardi (LaSalle, Sandwich) netted two goals in the Saints 7-0 win over Lambton. On Sunday's win over Conestoga, Riccardi charged up the left side of the field with the ball and set up Cassie Nicholas (Windsor, Holy Names) for the game-winning goal in the 84th minute. 

Noel Junior (Brazil) also had a two-goal night on Wednesday, helping the men's team to an 8-0 final over the visiting Lambton Lions. In Sunday's game, Junior scored the opening goal on a 47th minute PK that gave the Saints the lead for a short period of time. After surrendering a tying goal, Junior kicked a beautiful cross to the back post that Evan Mendonca (Wallacetown) put in to give the Saints the lead in the dying minutes.
