Men's Soccer Clinch Home Playoff Game

The St. Clair College men's soccer team continued their OCAA regular season on Wednesday night with an exciting 5-4 comeback win over the Fanshawe Falcons (London) at Acumen Stadium.

The Saints got off to a slow start as they were down 3-0 35 minutes into the match. However, St. Clair bounced back to score 3 goals in 7 minutes to tie the game up at half. Tanner Page (Bothwell; West Elgin) got St. Clair on the board and Michael Zivcic (Windsor; St. Joseph's) scored the next two.

St. Clair went up 4-3 in the 57th minute on a penalty kick by Zivcic after Moussa Nizam (Windsor; Kennedy) was taken down in the box by the keeper.  Fanshawe tied things up at 4-4 in the 70th minute on a penalty kick of their own.  However, just 3 minutes later Page scored the winner on a great feed from Zivcic.
